Why should I change?

You don't have to change. Absolutely not. If you already feel fulfilled and happy, there's no need to put unnecessary pressure on yourself!

Be honest with yourself, my friend!

If, however, you feel some flavour of "I want more from life", and "something's got to change", then you need to act on this. You owe it to yourself to create a life you truly love!


1. What do you truly want and need in life (not what others want)?

2. What kind of person do you want to be?

3. What values do you want to have?

4. What do you want to be doing daily?

5. What currently doesn’t fit with that vision?

To look after everyone except yourself.

To live a life without truly living.

6 strategies for making lasting changes

1. Set clear and specific goals

One of the most important steps to making lasting changes is setting clear and specific goals to ensure motivation and direction. When you set goals, make sure they are realistic, measurable, and achievable. Write them down, break them into smaller steps, and make a plan to achieve them. Tell someone you trust about your goals, and ask them to keep you accountable if that helps!


2. Create a plan


Having a plan is crucial to making lasting changes. Your plan should be flexible, adaptable, and include contingency plans for the obstacles that may arise. Design a step-by-step plan that outlines the actions you need to take to achieve your goals. By planning ahead, you'll be able to stay on track and make progress even when things get tough.


3. Take small, consistent steps


Taking small, consistent steps towards your goals is essential to making lasting changes. Focus on taking one step at a time, even if it's a small one. Remember that adding something positive is easier than removing something negative. The cumulative effect of these small steps will add up over time and help you make significant progress towards your goals.


4. Track your progress


Tracking your progress is essential to making lasting changes. Regularly monitoring your progress will help you stay motivated and adjust as needed. Celebrate your successes, and learn from your mistakes and setbacks. Setbacks are not failure, they are merely something that didn’t work! When tracking your progress, notice how far you've come and stay motivated to keep going.


5. Find support

Having a support network is crucial to making lasting changes. Surround yourself with people who support your goals and encourage you to keep going. Find good role models, beware of toxic people, and reach out for mentors and coaches. Having someone to share your struggles and successes with will help you stay motivated and accountable.


6. Be patient and persistent


Be patient with yourself and don't give up if you don't see immediate results. Stay committed to your goals and keep taking action, even when it feels difficult. By being persistent and consistent, you'll be able to overcome obstacles and make lasting changes in your life.
