1. Coaching Scope
Coaching is a professional relationship designed to facilitate personal and professional growth.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or any form of medical treatment.
The coach serves as a facilitator of change, and it is the client's responsibility to implement the changes discussed.
Techniques such as Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) may be offered but are entirely optional.
2. Payment and Fees
Payment of the agreed-upon fee confirms your booking and acceptance of these terms.
Fees are to be paid in advance as outlined in the invoice.
Prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Payments can be made via the methods specified in your invoice.
3. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
At least 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
If you are late, the coach will wait for up to 10 minutes. After this, the session will be marked as missed and considered a paid session.
Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a productive session, clients agree to limit distractions such as phone calls, emails, or interruptions.
Clients are active participants in their coaching journey and should come prepared for each session.
Take full responsibility for implementing insights and strategies.
Understand that results are not guaranteed and depend on their own participation and follow-through.
5. Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed without the client’s consent, except as required by law.
The coach adheres to the professional ethics and guidelines of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice.

Mindfully Sober Pilot Program – Terms & Conditions
Important Note
This is the first release of the Mindfully Sober Program — a pilot version offered at a reduced rate in exchange for your honest feedback. While the content is evidence-based and carefully developed, you may encounter small changes, updates, or technical hiccups during your journey. Your feedback will directly help shape the future version of this course.
What You’re Getting
When you enrol in the Mindfully Sober Pilot Program, you receive:
Lifetime access*:
Self-paced video modules, hosted on my website and accessed via personal login credentials.
The Mindfully Sober Journal (downloadable + printable PDF)
The Mindfully Sober Workbook (downloadable + printable PDF)
Access from enrolment:
Private community for additional support
Weekly live group calls with Sophie - hosted on Zoom with a unique link, on Thursdays from 6.30pm-7.30pm (AEST - GMT+10) starting on 24 July 2025**
**As this is a pilot, small changes to scheduling, module delivery, or features may occur as I continue refining the experience. Any changes will be communicated clearly and with notice, and always with your success in mind.
Important: These calls will be recorded with speaker view only and may be used for program content. The recording will be stopped for the Q&A portion to protect your privacy when discussing private topics.
*Lifetime Access (with Limits)
Access to all materials is included for as long as they remain available online. While my intention is lifetime access, I cannot guarantee indefinite availability due to potential changes in platforms or technology.
You'll keep access to the course materials as long as they're hosted on my site or YouTube.
I reserve the right to retire or change hosting platforms.
If that happens, I’ll give you reasonable notice and offer an alternative download option if possible.
Disclaimer
This is a coaching and reflection-based program, not a medical, therapeutic, or addiction recovery treatment.
I am a certified Life Coach (ICF-ACC level), not a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or addiction specialist.
This program is designed for people who are ready and willing to become alcohol-free, and are not currently experiencing high-risk withdrawal or unmanaged health conditions.
If you have a medical or mental health diagnosis, or any concerns about your safety or suitability for this program, please speak to your doctor or qualified healthcare provider first. Let me know if you need to clarify anything before enrolling.
I reserve the right to remove any participant who is not a safe fit for this program, for their protection and the group’s wellbeing. No refunds will be given as these Terms and Conditions clearly outlay the requirements to participate.
While this program is designed to support positive behavioural change, your results will depend on your individual effort, personal circumstances, and engagement with the materials. I do not guarantee specific outcomes, nor am I responsible for the results of your participation.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. Here's what you can expect:
You are not required to join the Community or attend the live calls. In fact nothing is compulsory. This is your journey.
You will receive an exclusive link to join the Mindfully Sober Community.
You will receive an exclusive link and login credentials to the learning platform and to access the pre-recorded lessons, workbook and journal.
You will be given the Zoom link for all live calls
Your email will be added to a specific mailing list, and used only for relevant program communication. Most of the communication however will be done inside the Community.
Your personal information is never shared or sold.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
We appreciate that you may want to help others by sharing elements of this program with your loved ones. As per the law however, this program and all materials are the intellectual property of Sophie Anderson and protected by Intellectual Property legislation.
You may not share, resell, republish, or distribute the course content in part or in full (including journal prompts, workbook pages, videos, or teachings) without explicit written permission from Sophie.
Your enrolment and access credentials are for your personal use only and may not be shared. Sharing access violates the terms of this agreement and may result in removal from the program without refund.
Support and Boundaries
This program does not include private 1:1 coaching.
The Community is a space for support and questions — but it is not monitored 24/7.
I’ll do my best to reply to questions within 1–2 business days.
If you require deeper, tailored support, you can book a separate coaching package with me.
Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
The pilot program is offered at a special rate of AUD $399 + GST.
Payment is required upfront and is non-refundable, except in the unlikely case of technical failure, cancellation, or ethical misconduct on my part.
There are no refunds for change of mind, misunderstanding, lack of participation, scheduling conflicts, or personal preferences.
You are responsible for managing your own engagement with the materials and live calls.
If for any reason you’re dissatisfied, please let me know. This is a pilot, and I’m open to adapting as I go.
What You’re Committing To
You’re joining a safe, experimental, and empowering space to change your relationship with alcohol.
You agree to be respectful of the content, the group, and yourself.
You’re responsible for your own progress — I’ll support you, but I cannot do the work for you.
By paying your invoice, you’re confirming your commitment to these terms… and to yourself!
