This is a question I hope this article will answer, for I have myself wondered the same thing in the past, but now I can confidently say that I can change absolutely aything in my life if I want to, because I know how to set goals.

Beyond Resolutions
Now think of new year’s “resolutions seasons”, where countless individuals excitedly write down their ambitions, yet a significant portion eventually find themselves forgetting about them, or deciding that it’s WAY too hard to change.
Think of “Dry July” which holds a similar kind of “autopilot goal setting frenzy”. We make things SO HARD for ourselves!
Being on your own side
Try this next time: dissect your own resolutions, and cross-check them with the elements in the graph. Pause and plan. Do it for yourself, to boost your self-trust. We start trusting ourselves when we achieve what we told ourselves we would achieve. It starts with planning well.
