No Time for Burnout
The Podcast

No Time for Burnout is for the woman already at capacity with zero time to fall apart who wants to feel seen and, most importantly, to get helpful insights and ideas to bring more balance to her life before she collapses.
It is a powerful complement to the work I do, and the book that's coming out in 2027.
What this Podcast is About
No Time for Burnout is the podcast for women in leadership, senior roles, and business owners who are already at capacity and have zero time to fall apart.
Those who love their work, who can't say no, who wake up at 3am and can't fall back asleep, and who can't seem to make their boundaries stick.
Those who still look fine on the outside but who are completely overwhelmed, and drowning on the inside.
You're not lazy.
You're not weak.
You definitely haven't lost your capability.
You're just at capacity. Out of resources. Yet you’re still showing up and pushing through, still saying yes, and still helping everybody... because the to-do never ends, and people rely on you.
You're not alone in this, my friend. Busyness has become a badge of honour, a sign that we're contributing, that we matter and we are worthy. But wearing yourself out isn't a virtue, it's a warning sign and it’s completely unsustainable.
You're allowed to want to slow down without feeling like you're letting everyone down. You won’t. There’s a way to slow down and look after yourself that doesn’t mean everything collapses.
Burnout is predictable and entirely preventable.
I’ve got you!
Hi,
I'm Sophie Anderson. I am a burnout prevention specialist, corporate coach, speaker, creator of The Anderson Model of Burnout Prevention™ (AMBP), and author of the book "No Time for Burnout" coming in 2027.
This show is your pocket coach to continue being productive while also looking after yourself and rebuilding capacity. I will help you identify where you are on the burnout spectrum and exactly what to do to avoid crossing the threshold into burnout. I will share many tools and strategies, and invite feedback and questions to target my episodes to your needs.
I’ve never burnt out. I’ve been on that path though, and caught myself before I fell apart (phew!).
That's the whole point of this show: prevention, not recovery.
🎙️ Expect short, imperfect episodes built for people with no spare time, and real, practical strategies to build capacity.
If you've got no time for burnout, but you can spare a few minutes to understand yourself better and improve things,
this is the show that will truly move the needle.

FAQs
What is No Time for Burnout about?
No Time for Burnout is a podcast about preventing burnout before it happens, hosted by burnout prevention specialist Sophie Anderson. Each short episode explores a relatable scenario, like being at capacity or finding it hard to say no, to help you build self-awareness and self-leadership. You'll recognise whether you're at risk, understand what burnout looks like, and walk away with practical strategies you can use straight away.
Who is the podcast for?
No Time for Burnout is for high-performing women who are already at capacity and have zero time to fall apart, including women in leadership, senior roles and business owners. It's for the woman who looks fine on the outside but is drowning on the inside, still showing up, still saying yes, and still helping everybody.
How long are the episodes?
Episodes run between 10 and 25 minutes. There's no intro or outro, no producer and no editing effects, just one honest recording focused on what matters to you. They're deliberately short so they fit into a busy day.
Is burnout preventable?
Yes, burnout is predictable and preventable. Workplaces can reduce the risk through the six areas of work life identified by researcher Dr Christina Maslach: workload, control, reward, community, fairness and values. Individuals can prevent it through the hundreds of intervention points in the Anderson Model of Burnout Prevention™ (AMBP), organised across three prevention pillars. With self-awareness and the right changes, you don't have to burn out. It's what I practise myself.
How do I know if I'm heading towards burnout?
The clearest early sign is the feeling that you have too much to do and not enough time or energy to do it. Other signs include never getting to the bottom of your list, body aches, tension or pain, and feeling increasingly negative about your workplace or work. People most at risk take pride in their work, tie it to their identity, hold sky-high standards, find breaks and rest very uncomfortable, and rarely ask for or accept help.
